My students have had one week to finish a physical and a political map of Europe. I’ve given them practically all class since last Tuesday to complete them. I have 28 students. Each student should turn in 2 maps, so that makes 56 maps. I have 17. Total.
Most of them didn’t get a binder with 5 dividers together in a week either, so they all basically failed their binder check last week, too.
Can you tell they did absofuckinglutely nothing under their previous teacher?
They take the district’s first ever End of Course exam this year. I am freaking out my kiddos are going to be the ones that fail it.
Being a long-term sub at semester is hard. But damn it all to hell, I swear my kids are going to finally learn something. Even if it’s just to sit down and shut the hell up.
